This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.
The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The extension leaf increases the overhang at each end of the table creating generous space for two more people at the short ends.

Frustrating build, scratched leafSebastianI was excited for this table, it's frequently out of stock. But when we finally got to building, it was a nightmare. Some screws need way too much force to be screwed into the table top (and with ikea quality screws, that means easily stripped screws), the latch mechanism is flimsy and hardly works, and worst of all, our leaf was scratched and scuffed out of the box. Tried getting just the leaf replaced, but you have to bring the whole table in to get a replacement. No way I'm building this thing a second time. Do not recommend at all.
