FaultyStephanieI purchased two of these, the one that works is great though difficult to install without any of the rope showing if that's what you want. The other has flickered since we installed it. We had an electrician check things out and determined it was an issue with the fixture rather than the wiring in the house. Because we went through that process before reaching out to Ikea, we were outside the return timeframe and customer service refused to replace the fixture or refund.
CrookedAdamWill not hang straight no matter what I do. I have followed and refollowed the directions religiously and to a T. I have tried adjusting it, adjusting the mounting plate, even replaced the light. The rod is bent and the pendant hangs on a slant. I have hung many light fixtures and can assure that it’s not user error. Another IKEA one and a third party one, both pendants, hang straight. This one is always crooked in the same way. Junk.
BeautifulPerriPurchased for our eat-in kitchen area and it's perfect. Neutral in design without looking plain. Adds a lot of warmth to the space. My only complaint is IKEA doesn't include merettes for install.

Definitely go with the recommended light bulbs as they give a warm glow. Our lights are on dimmers and they look incredible. They were so simple to install and the mechanism for the ceiling installation made it very secure.
