This product is dope-dyed, a dyeing technique for synthetic fibers, which reduces consumption of water and dye while improving color fastness compared to traditional dyeing techniques.IKEA has banned the use of chlorine bleaching agents in the production of textiles and paper products due to the negative impact on the environment.IKEA has strict requirements for the use of phthalates in all our products, and we have totally banned them in children’s and food-contact products.Since 1996 IKEA has banned harmful dyes, e.g. azo dyes, in textile and leather production. No perfluorinated chemicals (e.g. PFOS, PFOA, PFOSA) are used to make this product water repellent. As perfluorinated chemicals are non-degradable, it’s better for you and the environment to avoid them.

We like it!Natasha176We like it but it does not fit on all beds. We had to bend the pieces that go on her bed so that it would fit our wooden IKEA bunk bed4
Perfect to keep bedside table cleanJackiekwhiteThis time around preparing for a newborn I got one of these to keep all the supplies I need at the ready without cluttering my bedside table. Fits like honestly 8 novels, my phone, medicine. It hasn’t fallen off once and I also have a toddler who likes to climb up and down my side of the bed. Wish I came in more neutral colours but it’s covered by the duvet when the bed is made. Highly recommend to avid readers.5
Poor designSaraLynn1982Was excited to buy this for my Som’s bunkbed but we were both disappointed. He was excited to fill it up with his favourite things only to have it fall off! It needs some extra form of attachment. Frustrating and sad for a five year old when I had to take it back.1
Bought 2, but 1 won"t stay put.ParymatMy kids like these, but I keep reattaching one end on one of them. If you buy, try to find one with a narrow attachment2
it fall al the timeHalifax womanI don't like it. It falls all the time.1

Perfect Storage for my bed!juliealexiaI bought this bed pocket because at night I have some things that I need a place for, like my glasses, a book i might be reading, etc. I looked around for something similar and couldn't find anything, until I saw this one at Ikea catalog. I'm thrilled with it! I can change it's place in my bed as I need it and it's always handy! I like that it has so many pockets and different sizes for different things. Everyday I find something else that needs to go in this bed pocket!5
Doesn’t fit classic metal Ikea bunkbedsLeila79We have the recently discontinued Ikea metal bunkbeds they have sold for ages and this doesn’t fit the railing well. I will be sewing on two strips of velcro to secure it better as it only has a built in “curve” to hang onto the bar currently.2
Good for bunk bedAbv111Good for storage, barely fits on side of bed.4
Does the trickMike RThis is not just for kids. I'm a senior and use it on my bed to hold all the junk I use quite often at bedtime instead of it cluttering up my nightstand. Hand cream, massage roller, tv remote, book, etc. Only issue with this particular item is that the hooks that hang it off the bed could be longer on the backside, as it tends to fall off quite easily. The shorter bed pocket that is available, that I have used in the past, never fell off. Perhaps I will try to modify this one.4
