Fantastic for any application.MattGreat cabinet, easy to put together.
I installed Mittled lights over each shelf, I had to drill the holes out at the top to fit two wires each. I bought some micro wire raceways to hide the white wires and it blends in very well.
I will be buying more of these. I just wish you could buy extra shelves.

AwesomeRayyanGreat display, the doors block off a bit of course but it’s still good, the lock is a nice feature just have to have the door with the inner lock locked for the key lock to work properly, putting it together was tough, the glass was quite difficult to handle tbh, overall tho very good.
Glass panels do not fit properly SaraVery similar experience to another customer. 3 of the 4 glass panels fit ok, but it is impossible to get the 4th panel to fit correctly. This was an absolute nightmare to try and assemble and I’ve put together a lot of Ikea furniture. Disappointing considering how well reviewed this item is.
Poor fit won't allow side glass panels to seat.KeithEverything was going just fine until it was time to put in the long side panes of glass. The metal base plate appears to have been machined too narrow. This causes the bottom of the glass to pop from behind the small dimples at the bottom and be unable to seat flush with the side supports. All glass panes were interchanged but they all had the same issue at the same spot on both sides of the bottom.

It feels silly that extra shelves is not an option ESPECIALLY considering that we can get extra shelf brackets. How hard could it be?
Not easy to install SusanInstructions left out may key stages, example base no picture to say different bases unless you look close,, unit is assembled but lock does not work,, what could we have done wrong!!!!

Once you have it leveled the doors still do not lineup at the top. Otherwise this is the type of cabinet we want, all glass. We just need more shelves. The instructions could have some written words like leaving screws on top loose so you can get the glass in.

Very pretty display cabinetCelineVery elegant and sturdy display cabinet. Some reviewer said that it doesn't lock, well it does lock, you just need to manually secure the rods on the top and bottom of the door to "lock" the left door to the cabinet, then you use the key to lock the right door to the left door. It may not prevent a robber from stealing your goods when you are away on vacation but it definitely will deter theft from most. I use mine in a retail store with little supervision. As others said, the glass can scratch the bottom of the cabinet during installation as it it quite tight but you just need to loosen the screws at the top to allow a bit more room for the glass to slide in. Instructions could be a bit more clear I suppose but overall very satisfied with this and considering purchasing more for both the store and my home. P.S. One of the packages is extremely heavy and will bring help next time!

Great quality and sturdy buildJacob, JoseI personally found this cabinet very easy to assemble about 45mins. Materials are of really good quality and it feels quite durable. Installing lighting was a breeze with the existing holes on the top. 2 STRIMSAV LEDs can be installed seamlessly. Only thing i wish they included, was one more glass shelf as i feel there's a lot of unused space which is gone to waste...
Great display cabinet, could use better instructions for installing lightingAnonymous reviewerCabinet itself was excellent. Installation was easy, managed to build it myself in about an hour. I bought this to replace my old FABRIKÖR and I like the MILSBO so much more. Its quite a bit sturdier and I like the fact that the metal frame is not as thick so you can see more of the inside. The door magnets are a thoughtful touch too and keeps the door in place.
My only gripe is the fact that IKEA advertise this as "lighting ready" but provide little to no instruction on how to properly mount even their lighting options to this cabinet. After struggling with double sided tape which didn't work well, I ended up drilling my own holes at top to hang two MITTLED LED lights using small nuts and bolts. This solution ended up working perfectly and provides excellent lighting for my LEGOs and figures.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
