Product details

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

You can adjust the shelves to fit different things, and adjust them again whenever you need to. Adjustable shelves help you use your space more efficiently.

Care

Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Safety and compliance

When used with an add-on unit, the whole combination must be secured to a wall to avoid the risk of tipping.Maximum evenly distributed weight is 50 kg. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 15 kg on a small surface on the desk.This desk has been tested for domestic use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

Good for small spaces but not made well SungheeCould have just gotten a lemon, but the pre drilled hole must have been drilled slightly off kilter causing a bit of a tilt. This made it hard to turn to fasten things at the end. This also resulted in slight crookedness narrowing the desk that made it difficult to get the drawer in. Due to this the drawer is stiff to pull out and push in.3
Wobbles horriblyJbAlthough it looks good, and fits in my small space nicely, it wobbles very badly under ordinary handwriting. It needs trusses or a closed back on the shelving unit. Also a real bear to assemble.3
Pretty easy assembly, gorgeous functional deskAngelaThe instruction says to have two people build the desk. Honestly, one person could probably get snacks for the other person, and periodically express encouraging phrases. And be there for additional safety, perhaps. The desk is really cute, clean lines, strong. Door hardware can always be a little bit finicky, but it only took a few minutes to adjust that part. Great value. If you need a simple desk with fairly decent storage, you found it.5

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
