Worst chair everIlliaIf you want a metal bar to grind against your spine 24/7 this is the chair for you…
Whoever designed this thing, should not be designing any furniture 1
A great chair! MargaretThis is the perfect chair for our adolescent who games and needs it for a homework space! 5
not for long sittingAnonymous reviewerIt is been more than a year since I bought this chair. I mostly use pillow to support my back on this chair. The seat material is good however due to no air crossing my thigh/hips sweats. 2
Seat tilted at the wrong angle.PatThis chair is not comfortable at all. The seat is very slippery and it's tilted oddly forward just enough so I always feel like I am about to slip out of it or possibly it's the back rest that is pushing me out of it. EIther way, I can't sit in this for more than a couple of hours without my back getting sore. For the cost I was expecting a better design.2
Chair will no longer recline NirdaAfter about a year of use, the chair not longer reclines back and is stuck in a rigid position. I loved using it to study and was always comfortable on my back. We tried dismantling the screws that hold it in place, but it looks like it's just stuck. If anyone has any advice or if IKEA can help out that would be nice. 2
Nice feel but material doesn’t lastNI really loved the white chair. I bought it for my son last Christmas and he thought it was great. He used it a lot and now the seat is completely worn through. I don’t recommend until there is a material upgrade.3
Great chairKimExactly what we were looking for as a chair for a desk for studying as well gaming and just relaxing.5
Design FlawShannaFor the most part this chair is the good quality I expect from Ikea, but there is one critical design flaw: The mesh that makes up the back of the chair does not properly keep your back from touching the back metal frame. If you sit in a very specific posture you may only barely feel it, but if you change your posture at all you feel a sharp pain in your back. For very tall people this may not be an issue but I would probably recommend that Ikea take it off the menu, unless certain people really like it; their other chairs seem to do all the same things without the design flaw.1
AmazingAnujComfortably. Great support for back. Doesn't roll when not seated.5
Would be good for $150Anonymous reviewerThe chair feels cheap. Nowhere near enough cushion on the seat. It makes metal clangs every time you move it. The wheels don't roll unless you're sitting in it, if you want to move it while not sitting down then the wheels drag. No seat tilt adjustment. It makes a metal clanging noise every time you sit down. Should be 100-150 max.2
The chair was easy toMariaThe chair was easy to assemble.
We are satisfied with the chair overall.
However, I would have preferred a solid black chair without the red trim.4

Not as adjustable as one might thinkSamanthaWill be returning. Only issues are present, and I am only 5'5".
The arm rests do not come up high enough - my elbows float about 2" at the highest setting. The arm rests should also be longer, not enough surface length to support the right places correctly. The arm rests also move way too easily and by accident, so I'm constantly moving them around.
The seat: It doesn't go low enough for my feet to comfortably reach the floor. Secondly, for ergonomic reasons your thighs should be parallel to the floor with hips and knees in line with each other. But, its like the seat tilts down towards the front, so my hips are much higher than my knees. As a result, its actually tiring on the legs to sit correctly. There's no option to tilt the seat too mitigate this issue. The seat is also not deep enough to be comfortable and fully support the legs, and needs more padding.
The lumbar support misses the mark as well, and the angles for leaking back are not comfortable for me personally.2
