Ratings and reviews

Perfect chair for working long hours in this price range.DanielI had the original Markus for 10+ years. It has been used 8-10 hours a day pretty much every day and I am a heavy guy. I was quite used and I just upgrade to this new version. It is as good with some small improvements. The cloth seat helps your bottom breathe a little and the mesh back gives your back some airflow too. The last thing you want is a mushy leather seat. This firm seat is just perfect. I hope Ikeas still make this model in another 10 years ;)5
Accoudoir Non ajustable.
Get it !MelanieI'm 5"7' approximately 220 lbs the large size is perfect for my little booty, the armrests are perfect to sit upright and support arms to type, comfy I mean when I sat down I felt relieved right away, how did I do it before this Chair 5
There is no optimal recline for office workAmerIts either to tilted forward or backwards, there is nothing optimal or in between 3

This buy was well worth it. I spend 8-9 hours in it, and it feels amazing.

Much more comfortable for me with ~195cm height than the "regular" Markus. And overall one of the best Ikea chairs for tall people IMO
