I chose one where I could see marbling clearly, as some reviewers said some lamps don’t have much marbling. The one I got is beautiful.

Either way, I'd have been happy with something all black being that it's a natural stone product. I bought mine with the clear/white bulb (can't believe I committed to a lamp with such an expensive bulb - not like me at all) and I am so glad. My bedside lamp is really low and warm light (to create a healthy sleep environment) so this is perfect for my style. Will be ordering a second for the other side of the bed to have a matching set. Folks whinging about not getting one with "enough" marbling are forgetting this is a natural product and that's what makes it special.
Pretty goodAlejandraThis is not the best lamp out there, but it’s nice and stylish. I actually bought it because I wanted a lamp that used a regular bulb and most of the IKEA lamps use chandelier bulbs. It’d be great if there was an attachment to put on top for it to look better with a normal bulb.
Misleading picturesSerhiiWhen I was at the IKEA store with the intention of purchasing this Markfrost table lamp, I looked through quite a few of them, these lamps looked very dull flat black with hardly any white lines on them, not even close to being a pattern-like marble. I would never believe it was a piece of real marble, it looked like cheap plastic, even being heavy. Disappointed.
