LOOKS GOOD, WORKS POORTravisPurchased this for many of the reasons echoed in other reviews: it has a large storage area, and a flat space on top to store butter/sugar/tea containers. It also looks nice enough.
My issues are that it doesn't stay open, and it's construction is poor overall. The wood is prone to warping and the door isn't fully flush with the sides. The plastic edges of the door are also rough. My particular bread box was also not even - it rocks when on a flat surface. Unfortunately I'll be returning it.

Pretty decentBrettLooks good, has a flat top surface which I wanted, doesn't slide around too much on the counter. My complaints would be, the lid/door doesnt stay open on it's own and the non-sale price is too high.
Absolutely exceptional quality & good size.DeniseKnew it would be good from Ikea but couldn't believe the size of it. Fits all my loaves and other stuff besides and the lid rolls up so easily. But, most of all, the quality is absolutely outstanding. Way to go Ikea!
