We are in Winnipeg, where the supplier is Western Marble. They were able to fabricate and install within two weeks. Every city has a different distributor for this Ceasarstone product, so check which one it is locally before deciding to order. This supplier is quick and responsive to all of our questions.
We chose the glass composite because we were going to use quartz anyway and it saved us some significant money to order through ikea. We chose the mineral effect with little glass specks and it is very pretty.4

No Countertop to be foundAnnaI liked the sample in store and ordered almost two months ago and keep getting told the will have it soon only to now be told they have no idea when they will have product and I've been without a kitchen counter for over a month. They offer a colour to replace that doesn't match your kitchen, so far would not recommend purchasing a countertop that will come through ikea/ceasarstone.1
Glass Composite vs QuartzKarenI have been doing my kitchen in stages and the first stage I have the Quartz countertops, I was worried when IKEA changed to Glass composite because I wanted the same colour. The match is perfect! I am happy with the Glass composite and how it uses recycled glass instead of quartz.5
Ikea was great, Caesarstone (supplier) sucks!!AlexDon't order these countertops - the supplier (Caesarstone) is terrible and waits until you reach out after several weeks of no news on when your countertops will be in to say "oops we don't actually have the colour you paid for 2 months ago"! Ikea should cut ties with this company as they were awful to deal with and have no customer service and wasted so much of my time. Ikea was gracious in refunding me, but the supplier is no good! Source your countertops locally instead!1
