Care
Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

Weak legsBernardBought 6 chairs 2 years ago, so far 3 were broken in the same spot!!! The right leg is super weak for some reason. We only use it indoors, always well maintained and no overweight use whatsoever. Very disappointed
Broken within half a yearDanWe bought the chair on February 27, 2025 and on July 31, 2025, the chair broke while my husband sat on it having lunch. Our family are all under 65 kg and one of the leg just broke without any warning. This would be terrible if it happened to a senior or a kid. But still the accident hurts my trust to ikea products.

Sturdy and Comfortable JohnThese chairs are comfortable. Putting them together is a challenge. You have to put the bolt in the front of the chair. Then, you put the bolt in the rear left of the chair. If you do this, the other bolts go in easier. If you wait until the end to put the rear left bolt in, it won’t line up.

Sturdy Chair SharonOverall, a solid purchase. I picked these chairs up to go with an old IKEA pine table that is in my kitchen.
The chairs are solid, nothing rickety, and have a comfortable seat.
Assembly was a breeze but PAY ATTENTION to screwing in the screws. You must partially insert the screws and then go back to tighten. After the first chair, I found it best to partially insert, then tighten in the same sequence, then tighten again. The only tool needed is the Allen Wrench/ Hex Key that comes in the box.

Solid, comfortable, dip in quality from previous modelsMichaelI happen to have a very old set of the very first of this line of chair to compare with the modern one. The current Lisabo chairs are solid so sit upon, comfortable and attractive to look at. They were extremely straightforward to assemble.
But I have to remove one star because the quality of the crafts-robot-ship that assembled the pre-joined back/leg supports is shoddy. It works, but it looks extremely amateurish. Furthermore, the underside of the seat has 5 biscuit wafers that receive the screws through the legs - there are splinters on all 6 of my chairs from the manufacturing process. Not really what I was hoping for, and with a little one crawling all over the place, I had to sand them down myself. That's sadly similar to the by-gone originals.

"The idea behind LISABO was to create a series with the distinct feeling of wood, a floating expression and durable, easy to assemble construction. We chose a matt lacquer on the ash veneer so the furniture will keep its natural wood feel. The special technique we use allows the tables to be produced without support rails and with slanted edges that give it a handcrafted look. The furniture can be used in different ways and the pieces work great together or individually."
