The drawer does not open easilyKateThe drawer slides out of the nightstand by a wooden notch that slides over a plastic bar inside the nightstand. Since there are no wheels it is very sticky and it's very hard to open the drawer. I will be returning it.2

Very cheap. Expected better from IKEAMohannadBuilding was very easy and relatively quick. It is solid and not too flimsy. Problem is that the drawer mechanism is just plastic dragging along wood and not wheels that spin, which causes the drawer to stick while you are pulling or pushing it, and then it drags the whole nightstand along with it. So to open or close the drawer, you have to hold down the rest of the unit. If you have a lamp sitting on it, it may fall if you forget to hold down the unit while opening the drawer, so I cannot recommend this product at all.2
