This cover is made of dope-dyed GUNNARED fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.

Gives an active sitting position, which improves your posture.

Changing positions between sitting and standing helps you move your body so you both feel and work better.

Washable – Removable covers make cleaning easy and keep the chair fresh.

Pretty cool stoolRoseI am still getting used to the way the stool works, but it is a very helpful piece of equipment. I have realized that in order to sit comfortably at the height etc I want, I will need a better desk. Present model is an antique teacher's desk with drawers - great for standing but can't get knees under it if I want an intermediary height. Still, it beats standing all day and encourages me to shift positions, already seen an improvement in posture and reduced stress on lower body. Yay!4

Lift on the chair should not be used to pull the chair outHarshaneeThis stool works well, but if you have it under a table and pulling it out then be sure not to hold it with the part that lifts the chair. You won’t be able to push it down and you will need to have someone hold the table up so you can get the chair out. The part that lifts the chair up is all around the chair and easy to forget not to hold from there.3

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
