Colour Totally Different/Cannot DisassembleAllisonThe cabinet itself is fine for the price. BUT the colour in the website seems like a warm beige, but in reality it is a cool grey (no beige in sight). The feet of the piece are a warm wood colour but the wood in/on the cabinets is a darker cook gray - so the feet are mis-matched from the wood on the cabinet. The colour is totally misrepresented on the website - my home even has bright light like in the pictures. So it doesn’t match the rest of my furniture in tone at all - totally clashes.
The item also uses a lot of plugs, meaning the item will be ruined if disassembled for return. The buyback program, which demands no disassembly, is my only option, and the console is too big to fit in most vehicles, which also makes it difficult to resell elsewhere. A new piece of furniture is likely to end up on the curb, which upsets me for a lot of reasons. I feel totally duped by the pictures and this has been one of my most disappointing experiences in 25 years of shopping at IKEA.
