Good Chair, A Little Confusing In The WarehouseRobertThe chair is great! The only complaint I would have about the physical chair would be that the wheels are very stiff to roll. The main concern was that I managed to leave an item behind because the area to pick up the chair in the warehouse said that "this item comes in two pieces." Okay, no problem. I pick up the box labeled "1" and then the seat itself, so that would be item 2... Yeah? No. There is a second box labeled two that was not in it's proper location as they had all been taken. So the chair actually comes in three pieces, not two like the system said. Only figured this out once I got home when the piece for the wheels was not there. Was able to go back to the store and pick up the item the next day as it's an hour away. Build the chair, simple build, works really well.3

Not quiteAnonymousIt's a very handsome chair and also very comfortable in the showroom when I tried it out. However, after sitting on it a little longer at home, I realized the seat is shallow with a small bump toward the front of the seat which became uncomfortable and actually put my legs to sleep. I'm 5'10 so maybe someone who is shorter wouldn't have this problem. Secondly, the thing that puzzled me the most was the wheels only work when you're sitting in the chair. This means that if you want to move it around, you have to sit in it and scoot yourself otherwise your dragging immobile wheels across the floor. This 'feature' seems so silly to me. Another Ikea office chair I use at work has the wheels demobilize when you sit in it which makes much more sense if you must demobilize the wheels at all. Luckily Ikea's returns department is very cool.2

Our goal was to design a work chair that would fit into both office and living room – maybe even around the dining table. An ergonomic chair that’s as good to sit on as it is to look at, whether you’re working long hours or savoring a delicious dinner. We also made it easy to adjust and hid the mechanisms underneath the seat, all in the name of design."
