Cord is shorter than it was, still a cute lampMaureenI had an older Lampan and just switched to a new one today (top had cracked). I've always liked the glow of this lamp, I don't care for really bright lighting.
Just noted when plugging it in though that the cord on the older one is a good foot longer than this newer one.

Lights my entire basement TV room very comfortablyMichaelGood old LAMPAN. It's "cheap plastic" but for the price, as someone with a toddler in the house, it holds up just fine. Sitting atop a gloss Kalax bookshelf (mounted horizontally) a single lamp lights my 30x20 foot basement TV room very well, enough to comfortably read by at the other end of the room. I bought two for that room and am not even going to use the second one there.
Nice but broke easilyVrindaI've had this lamp for about 4 months and it won't turn on anymore. I tried changing the lightbulb but nothing. Before this it would occassionaly flicker and make a buzzing noise so I'm assuming something's wrong with the wiring. I know this is a cheap lamp but it feels like a waste to have to replace it so soon.
