The bed tent is open on the short sides, but absorbs bright sunlight and light from surrounding lamps.
Attaching the bed tent to the bed is quick and easy, but maybe not done right before bedtime.
The tent is easy care – you just wipe off dust and stains with a damp cloth.

2 Year Old Loves itAngelBought this for our nephew who is 2, almost 3. He absolutely loves making forts and for his bed to be cozy. He loves his bed tent and names all the animals. I do wish the inside was not images viewed from back of the fabric since that is his primary view.

The only thing I wish it had was the ability to tie back or roll up and secure the side “wall” when needed. Especially just for making the bed. The fabric is crinkly so it is not quiet if it is jostled or moved in the night. Not a deal breaker, just something we have to be conscious of when checking on our little one or if they fall asleep before we leave the bedside.
Otherwise, we are very happy with the purchase! It was easy to put together and secure on the bed frame. It also makes for an exciting spot for the kids to play during the day and a calm space for bedtime.
Cute but dysfunctional AmandaI really love the little tent, so does my son. I do find the clips to hold it on are not very secure and the flap that hangs is mostly in the way. With no way to tie it up I often fight with it to get my son into bed when he is asleep. Fun for the loft bed but not so much the toddler one.

Surfing dolphins, curious turtles and playful octopuses. The big deep sea is an enchanted world that triggers the imagination. It inspired us to create the BLÅVINGAD collection. Working with the project, we also realized that many children are worried about the oceans and their inhabitants.
“Children are engaged and well-informed about the pollution of the world’s oceans and how it affects the animals that live there. They want to do something about it and encourage us, adults, to do the same,” says child psychologist Dr Barbie Clarke. She regularly participates in the work with our Kid’s Advisory Panel, where we interview children in different countries about their opinions on various topics.

Stories, games and movies about life in the deep sea give children access to a world that is different from their own everyday life. “When children are between 3 and 6 years old, they fantasize the most, and when they get a bit older, they want to learn facts and understand how the oceans work,” says Barbie. She adds that when children are absorbed by something, it’s more than a game; they forget their worries, explore the world and broaden their horizons – just like a giant blue whale that floats off to explore the sea.
