Great little shelfJenniferEasy to assemble, great looking and excellent for my small space
Frustrating assembly, poor quality fastening, wobbly once assembledAnonymous reviewerThe screw holes are too tight and/or the small screw heads are poorly made and got stripped as I was trying to fasten. Now I can’t remove the screws to disassemble for return.
Since the screws were not fully integrated the structure was very wobbly and I would not trust it with heavy items.
I do not recommend this item. It was a waste of my time and money.
Great for large books and looks amazing!ChristinaI have quite a lot of large books that didn’t fit in my bookshelf, so I bought this and the spacious lower shelf is perfect for this purpose. I use the top shelf to display zines that have a stapled binding so I can look at their covers instead. All in all, the quality is amazing especially for such a low price. And the red color is awesome too!
Beautiful and simple to set upAbirThis little shelf is beautiful, easy to set up, and at a great price point. I was initially skeptical since other reviews mentioned that it was difficult to build but it took me less than 15 minutes to set it up alone.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a simple, beautiful, and very useful storage shelf!
Looks AmazingSavannai was nervous seeing the reviews i would have difficulty putting it together. But it was fine and it looks great, very afforable too which was nice.
Screws don’t fit properlyKatherineThe screw holes for the small screws are too tight, making it impossible for the screws to go in all the way. IKEA Canada sent me a replacement, but the new one had the exact same problem. It seems to be a recurring manufacturing issue as there are similar complaints from different countries.
An infuriating buildMegThis is one of the prettiest shelves Ikea has put out in recent memory and it is visually stunning once built but god!! The building was terrible. I stripped every screw. The way the boards attach to the legs? I ripped and cracked the veneer in two places when the screw pulled out just from the wobbling. It’s standing but not one screw is flush. I hated every moment of this build and that’s saying a a lot- I’ve constructed many ikea products before.
