Be careful.KristinaI badly wanted to buy a cheese slicer and saw this one. Ordered this item along with others. When it arrived I unpacked it and while handling it got sharp poke in my finger (up to small drop of blood). Turned out that by the end of the handle there was a tiny sharp metal wire, almost unnoticeable which poke through my skin. Can’t use the product. Probably just a manufacturing mistake. 1

It is razor sharp which is why it works well! Use carefully! It has not rusted at all. Very happy with this, it gets the job done on bricks of Costco cheese!
