Rest your feet on the footstool or use it as an extra seat or a comfortable extension of your sofa.

The footstool has a generous storage space under the seat for you to keep things you need close at hand and still have the area around the sofa neat and tidy.

This cover is made of Tibbleby, a soft dope-dyed polyester fabric with a slight lustre and a discreet herringbone pattern.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

  • The cover has a lightfastness level of 5-6 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

For the price is not worth it. Good things : you can remove the fabric and wash it , you can put your things inside , safe lots of space.2

Not the same fabric as my kivik sofa!Anonymous reviewerI ordered this ottoman to match my kivik sofa I have had for a few years. IKEA must have changed the fabric for the ottomans because it DOES NOT match my sofa! The colour is pretty close but the fabric, stitching, and texture is very different and noticeable. In addition, after only about 3 months of having the ottoman, it’s already starting to snag and there is a TON of pilling happening. I am very very disappointed in why IKEA would change the fabric for this. Not only does it not match the “matching” sofa (as it’s supposed to) but it’s also worse quality. My sofa looks brand new sitting next to the ottoman and I’ve had my sofa for a few years compared to my 3 month old ottoman! 1
Sturdy footstool with storageJessieI love this footstool! I love that the cover is removable, and the kelinge grey-turquoise colour is super beautiful in my home. It has an amazing amount of space inside which is very handy. I just wish it was somewhat easier to take off the top - it’s a pretty heavy footstool. Nevertheless I couldn’t be happier! I paired it with the Kivik loveseat and it’s very big - it covers over half of one cushion, so there’s lots of space for everyone to put their feet while relaxing on the loveseat. Assembly was pretty straightforward, it just can be tough to line up the velcro perfectly on the cover. 5
