Nice unit, but I had some issues with the dowels.LynnI purchased the black unit. It has a nice wood grain look. I also purchased the base, but liked the unit better without it. I had some problems putting it together. I am not sure if the top and bottom are identical. I had to shave the two longer dowels. In the end, everything came together nicely. 5

Having looked everywhere for some that fits all my electricals I came across Thai very easy to build but with mine I left the center part of wood on the middle shelf for extra room for sound bar great addition to other kallax units
