Excellent shelving for craft suppliesPatriciaWe put this in our closet and attached the smaller unit on top to make a lot of organization space for all my craft supplies. Easy to assembly and sturdy. Easy to attach to the wall for safety.
Bolt to wall !!NoemyIf not bolted to the wall thoroughly, it's very flimsy so make sure to bolt it to a wall for support. Once bolted it's great and solid.

In a craft room for craft supplies and in the office for stationary supplies. Things always look very neat and tidy. Love too that you can purchase the inserts, but I've not had to use those. The price point is outstanding! One can't lose in choosing these

Great unit with many options!ÅnnaPurchased this in July 2023; the unit I have at home measures 59" but the unit currently in store is just under 58" which is very strange. But the inserts still fit nicely. The unit is very lightweight and easy to move when empty. Doesn't feel overbearing or daunting. So many options to extend the storage. Planning on buying a second one in the future. Quality has held up nicely; no chips or damage even after being moved twice. Assembly was easy but did take two people due to the size.
Parts are fragile and hard to assembleYeeThe joint was so fragile and it is breaking easily. After I have assembled, it has some gap in between and I need to do extra hammering on fixing it. Some can be fixed but some can’t. Although I redid it again, the gap still there. It is just a headache. I was wondering why the joint was a wooden stick but not screw. I think it deserves something stronger more than wooden sticks at this price. I am happy using it but just feel difficult on the assembly part.

This is great, affordable shelving,AnitaThis is great, affordable shelving, but it’s best not to rely on the Allen key alone to assemble it. After learning our lesson from putting another but smaller Kallax shelf together, we ended up buying an Allen key drill bit, which made the assembly process much faster and less frustrating. But I now have three Kallax in different sizes, and there ate fantastic and look terrific.
