Very disappointed KahinaI bought this thinking it’s a great back to have storage and a desk at the same time, that was until i reached the final assembly step and realised 2 hideous grey square metal connectors will be visible on the table/ kallax. It was literally all you could see since the desk is black. I can’t believe Ikea is selling this and couldn’t come up with a viable aesthetically acceptable solution. Very disappointed and considering returning the item

After 7 years of usingZeyangAfter using this model of desk for seven years, the surface developed a large amount of paint peeling off. My hands tend to sweat easily, which indeed makes the problem worse, and there isn’t really a good solution. At the same time, compared with other desks, this model is relatively fragile. The cabinet also gathers dust easily and is difficult to clean, especially when you have many books placed inside.
