Very useful, but challenging. Kallax divider insert. MelvaThis insert is very handy and helpful in organizing materials on the Oakland shelves. It was very challenging to put together. Getting the holes to line up with the pegs and stay connected while putting the insert into the shelf was definitely a two person job and involved some swearing. When it’s finally in the shelf it is a very useful addition to the basic Kallax shelf.

Sturdy and looks great!SherylThis was more solid and sturdy than it looked on the website. Assembly was straightforward but a bit tricky to attach the second side as the shelves took some steady hands to line up. I had to loosen the Kallax unit a little bit to push the shelf into the cubicle. There are strips of felt with an adhesive backing that need to be applied to each side that keeps the insert securely in place. Over all I am happy with it. The Kallax line is a favourite of mine due to the versatility, ease of assembly and IKEA’s continued support of these multi use units. By introducing great add-ons and showing the many ways this product line can be used, IKEA is a company that continues to provide consumers value for their money.
