Not for older modelsJessamine E.I've had my Kallax shelf for 5+ years and was excited to be able to upgrade its look. Very disappointed to find the frame won't fit older models in the middle of assembly. The hardware provided doesn't line up with the screw holes of older Kallax models. It's too bad because the frame looks great and would've provided new functionality to my space. Returning the product is a hassle as I live almost an hour away. This should have been clearly stated in the product description.1

I have a white unit that is over ten years old with four basket inserts, it’s will last for another 10 yrs now. My black unit is newer and the plug brackets fit into the leg stands perfectly.The white shelf has different dimensions and the plug brackets did not fit. It’s good just sitting on top of the frame.5
