        Sturdy for adults but poorly designedTerenceSturdy and easy to put together solo. Wide enough to fit 2 adults. Seat height is low, more for lounging, but not uncomfortable thanks to the deep seat and back rest. Colour is not the greatest, such a confusing ugly grey that Ikea designers chose, but it's somewhat light enough to blend into most patio decors. It's poorly designed though. To save money, Ikea only finished the slats on the visible surface, but left the bottoms of all the slats open. Even though you would never seen the bottoms under regular use, it's purely a cost saving move by Ikea. The exposed bottoms, with all the internal structural pieces, makes for a perfect environment for bugs to make their homes and for water to get trapped when washing it down. All of this could be avoided if they simply finished the bottom of the slots, and I would've gladly paid more to have to not deal with pesky bugs finding their homes in all the slats.3
