Beautiful shade, beautiful price! AnonymousI had been looking everywhere online for large, clear globe pendant lights to hang over my kitchen island. Anything big enough was $250+ and out of budget. I found two of these shades in the As-Is section (customer return, no damage) and decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did! I was looking for a full spherical shade but this was a very similar look and the price was right. Even the full price is very reasonable. I do not like the style of the recommended hardware and cord, so I bought a pendant light kit instead (from a "prime" online retailer, not ikea) and paired it with solid chandelier rods. This really elevated the overall look and you would never guess the total cost per light was around $70! I love IKEA for great style at a very affordable price. Highly recommend this shade! 5

Inconsistent thickness for cord setJaimeeWe finally have two shades that fit. We had to exchange them twice because the opening for the cord set was too thick and we couldn’t secure it properly (the set couldn’t thread on). The second time we went back to the store we tried several shades with a cord set until we found one that worked.3
