Shrinkflation y’all (Jäll)KailaI’ve used Jäll hampers for at least 20 years. The earlier ones had polyester fabric hanging on the metal frame, which lasted me 2 decades. Around 12 years ago, I needed another Jäll. They now had some kind of plastic for the hamper part that holds the clothes. Not ideal, but still in decent shape. Last week (2025) I visited the store to get a replacement for my circa 2000 Jäll. It is smaller (particularly in height) than my Jäll from a dozen years ago! I’m not impressed!

I loathe it because the thread unwinds from the top tabs almost immediately. I’ve owned four over one year. Honestly, buy it and make a cotton liner yourself…you’re going to do it eventually. Otherwise, it’s landfill.

Perfect for small spaces MariaI bought 2 of these for $4.99 each. One I use in my classroom for the children to put their sweaters when they want to remove them. This way they’re not wasting time in the hallways and getting “lost.” The other I have in a very small bathroom. I would say that it holds about 1 person’s weeks worth of laundry (winter clothes). Thinking to buy a few more to place in our living room to hold all our different throw blankets, the kids room for all their toys from the week, and in the bathroom for dirty towels only.

Great simple laundry basket SabinaJust what I excepted and even more. I have bought this basket 3 years ago and it is still working fine. This year I needed more and was happy it is still in stock. I got few extra to be able to sort my laundry better and accommodate all baby clothes. Very convenient: lightweight (so doesn’t add the weight when you transfer laundry to wash it) and easy to clean, since it is plastic. Amazing value for the price! Very satisfied!
