Not as durable as older designAliciaI purchased these to replace the IKEA laundry baskets I’d had for nearly 10 years, and these have barely stood up to a few months of laundry. The tabs have come apart at the seams and fallen off. Really disappointed.

Shrinkflation!CarliThese used to be good quality for the price, would get a few years out of them, but unfortunately the quality and size has gone down significantly. I would much rather pay a bit more and continue to get the quality I expect. Very disappointed Ikea!

Shrinkflation y’all (Jäll)KailaI’ve used Jäll hampers for at least 20 years. The earlier ones had polyester fabric hanging on the metal frame, which lasted me 2 decades. Around 12 years ago, I needed another Jäll. They now had some kind of plastic for the hamper part that holds the clothes. Not ideal, but still in decent shape. Last week (2025) I visited the store to get a replacement for my circa 2000 Jäll. It is smaller (particularly in height) than my Jäll from a dozen years ago! I’m not impressed!
