The cabinet fits in IVAR storage system, but you can also use it freestanding.
You can adapt the inside when needed by moving the shelf up or down.
To minimize the amount of residual waste, small holes are punched in the metal which is then stretched until it eventually becomes a mesh net.
The mesh net is produced according to the "zero waste" principle, which involves minimal waste during production and that the material should be reusable after the product is used.

Perfect size for my small homeAnnI renovated my kitchen last summer using IKEA cabinets in the gray/green colour. I was so surprised to find the IVAR cabinets were a perfect colour match! The IVAR cabinets, with their metal and mesh material, give the kitchen an industrial look, which is what I was going for. My IVAR cabinets have a narrow depth which fits perfectly into my small space, but the cabinets are roomy enough to fit all the kitchen items I don’t use much such as my ice maker and extra dishes. 5
Easy to Assemble (about an hour)BethHigh quality -strong, pieces fit perfectly. Practical - spacious and attractive with the lattice doors. Safe, - will not fall or cause injury if done properly (unlike many wall mounted particle board cabinets). Versatile - can be sitting on the floor or mounted on a wall or rack.
One shortcoming is that the doors could have been made thicker to avoid bending and reverberation. Partially remedied by putting duct tape on the four magnets on the door’s edges (to reduce the opening vibration) and by taking care to always open the door at the middle. A minor inconvenience only, maybe worth ½ of a star, but the quality otherwise is great so I stand by the 5 star rating.5
