Don’t buy theseAashimaI bought two of these cushion inserts this evening and I’m honestly really disappointed. They arrived extremely flat — they don’t feel like new inserts at all, more like cushions that have already been used for years and lost their shape.
Even after opening them, there’s no real fluff or structure to them, so they don’t give the full, supportive look you’d expect on a couch. It’s frustrating because I was expecting something that would actually add comfort and volume.
IKEA really needs to improve the quality of these inserts. I’d rather pay a bit more for something that holds its shape and feels properly filled than end up with something that looks worn out right out of the package.
This pillow is baaaadJenniferYou'd be better off going to get the $4 whale pillow and stuffing it into a cover than buying this. Definitely going straight back. Very surprised by ikea selling something so poor quality. The filling is very lumpy and uneven. I was tempted to just double up but then I'd be spending $32 cad on what is ultimately garbage.

Great pillow insertsErinThey are as described. They work for what I want. I should have looked closer at how much fill was in them. However, for the price I really cannot complain.
DisappointedMarielI was very disappointed because the cushion did not come out of the packaging like the display. It was all bulky in spots, scant in others, so the filling was uneven. It is also not firm, so when leaning into it, it doesn't hold you. I exchanged it for another, which was the same. I suppose they serve the purpose if just for decor on the sofa to look pretty.

Not firmMelissaClaim to be firm pillows but they are not. I've bought a few of those solely because of the price. But, you get floppy, flat pillows when you match them with the corresponding pillow cover. At the very least, it shouldn't be advertised as a firm pillow online/in-store.

Hard to overstate how bad these areSamanthaCompletely limp, you’d need two or three to fill out a cover. Sure, they’re not expensive but you expect better than this!! Don’t waste your money.
Came out v flatMabynIt wasn’t clear when I purchased this online that it wasn’t down filled like my other cushions. It just said ‘firm’ so I thought ‘sure, that works’. I found it took a long time to fluff up once it was opened and it is MUCH softer than the feather filled ones.
