Ratings and reviews
Terrible qualityPatsyThese pillows are extremely thin, not like what IKEA used to sell. They don't look good and are not comfortable. I will be returning these. There is also a bad smell.
It's great!SandraIt has to be fluffed often as it becomes lumpy looking. I was going to return for this reason but it is actually very comfortable on my couch. I really love it. I like the feather option wouldn't give enough support like this one.
All balled upAnonymous reviewerAs these are rolled up and vacuum sealed they are difficult to fluff up once opened-without them looking all balled up inside (think collection of all your small items rolled up in your bed sheets after you take them out of the dryer-loose, bulky and a bit every where here and there). In addition, because they have been rolled, once you open them the fold in the middle (created during the rolling and storing phase) creates more of a flop that has a tendency to stays in that position. I understand that to maximize shipment and inventory they must be vacuum sealed but perhaps not rolling them may be a better option for after purchase quality? Unsure
Get it?SylviaThis inner cushion is quite cheaply made, does not hold its shape properly and I seriously think Ikea could do better!
Not a good quality, too thin compared to the pictures providedMa TheresaNot as i expected! Failed
Confort!JoseeCoussin juste assez ferme et juste assez moelleux pour être confortable. On peut s’y adosser pour un beau moment détente!

Good inner cushionDonRecently purchased along with cushion covers to spruce up living room.
Good size and fits well into the new cushion covers to make them nice and thick.
Worth it.
Don’t buy theseAashimaI bought two of these cushion inserts this evening and I’m honestly really disappointed. They arrived extremely flat — they don’t feel like new inserts at all, more like cushions that have already been used for years and lost their shape.
Even after opening them, there’s no real fluff or structure to them, so they don’t give the full, supportive look you’d expect on a couch. It’s frustrating because I was expecting something that would actually add comfort and volume.
IKEA really needs to improve the quality of these inserts. I’d rather pay a bit more for something that holds its shape and feels properly filled than end up with something that looks worn out right out of the package.
This pillow is baaaadJenniferYou'd be better off going to get the $4 whale pillow and stuffing it into a cover than buying this. Definitely going straight back. Very surprised by ikea selling something so poor quality. The filling is very lumpy and uneven. I was tempted to just double up but then I'd be spending $32 cad on what is ultimately garbage.
UsefulAisaGot a personalized cover and needed an insert.
Large inner cushionBernaNice silk-like cover; is soft and perfect for my pillow cover thank-you
Don't buy these.LesleyThe price is attractive but the products is hopeless. These inserts become flat in no time and nothing brings them back to life.
Flat, sad pillowVinaTerrible purchase. Will be returning this. There is barely any filling to call it a cushion :(
InutileBenoitDécevant. Pour que ce coussin soit réellement utilisable, il faudrait qu'il soit trois fois plus rempli. On sent clairement l'effet de la réduflation : il en faut trois l'un sur l'autre pour obtenir un confort acceptable.
INNERMarijkeworks just fine, pretty basic
Wish I'd read the reviews firstChristineThere's no shape to it. It's flat and just blah looking, even with a highly colourful cover on it. Not sure what to do with them at this point...they look pretty awful as throw pillows on my bed.
Great pillow insertsErinThey are as described. They work for what I want. I should have looked closer at how much fill was in them. However, for the price I really cannot complain.
DisappointedMarielI was very disappointed because the cushion did not come out of the packaging like the display. It was all bulky in spots, scant in others, so the filling was uneven. It is also not firm, so when leaning into it, it doesn't hold you. I exchanged it for another, which was the same. I suppose they serve the purpose if just for decor on the sofa to look pretty.
Very flatGregoryVery insubstantial. You would need a couple of them to properly fill out a cushion cover. It looks pretty bad with only one. I would recommend getting a different less-cheap one.
