Poor quality controlChristineThe table itself is nice and fits our space well. It came mostly assembled which was a surprise. However, the leaf insert wouldn’t lay flat when the table was fully extended. We had to take apart the pieces of wood beneath the leaf and reassemble them in a different orientation. So what seemed to be a time-saver in the pre-assembly ended up the cause of a lot of frustration until we figured out what was wrong. 4
I can’t believe you are discontinuing this tableCaroleeThis is the only table that expands and meets my classic design esthetic. I have found that Ikea painted surfaces to be very durable. The expansion is essential when my family comes to visit and I love that the leaf is stored within the table. 5

Add a colourful runner, a clear vase or a couple of candles and it looks stunning. Was a little afraid the white would look cheap, but it looks very modern, clean and bright. Didn’t lastAnonymous reviewerWe bought this table about 2 years ago and at first it was great. About 6 months ago the finish started bubbling up along the edges and then chipped off. The finish, when chipping off is very sharp and has caused a cut or two or gotten under little fingernails when washing the table. I’m very disappointed considering the money paid. It certainly didn’t live up to my expectations.2
