Beautiful design with future recall potentialMinhI think this is a joyful design and truly wanted it for my space. I tried it in the store today and it was as very rickety and collapsed on me while I sat on it. Definitely question the safety of this product as a chair. It is solid wood and has some heft but the latching mechanism or how it was assembled must be faulty.
I intended to use it more as a side table anyways so purchased it with some hesitation. The design was just too alluring. When I opened the box at home to assemble it, the piece of wood for the seat had a small scratch. It was disappointing for a brand new product. I ultimately returned the stool.
Horrible value…JacobPaying $100 pre tax for a wooden stool with no cushion and no hydraulic strut is insane…. I tried it at the store, and it’s not comfortable to have to use both hands to lift the seat while fastening the clamp; very cumbersome and inconvenient.
Bad QualityLennyLove the design but unfortunately the base broke in half as we were assembling the stool. The top part of the stool may be too heavy, causing the glued lower base to come apart. I’d be cautious sitting on it.
