Architectural Presence at an IKEA PriceGaelleThe IKEA PS 2026 floor lamp has far more presence than its price suggests. Nearly 6 feet tall, its slender silhouette draws the eye upward and instantly elevates the room. Excels as an ambient lamp, though it can serve as a task lamp too. The only limitation is that the adjustable arms have a few fixed positions rather than full articulation, so directional flexibility is somewhat limited. What impressed me most is its distinct design point of view—it feels genuinely fresh in a market crowded with interchangeable lighting. It punches so far above its price point that my only irrational concern is that too many people will discover it and my hidden gem won’t stay hidden. I’d absolutely buy it again.

The quality is solid for the price , it feels well made and stable. The lighting is soft and warm (with the recommended bulb) perfect for creating a cozy ambient atmosphere rather than strong direct light.
Overall, great balance of design, quality, and price. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend!
I hate to rate it one starMaayanBut I had to. the day it came out of the box It was basically broken. To be specific: the bottom rotation (further from the light source) is glued to the inside of the tube. the glue was (i assume) weak and came undone after I rotated it a few times. There was no excessive force that caused it, I was simply trying out the different functions. it means I can no longer rotate it without the mechanism coming out of the tube. I usually have no complaints to IKEA but this one was really disappointing. Love the design.
Extremely Well Designed Quality ProductMahbodReceived the floor light in the package recently, from packaging, to installation to functionality, this is an extremely well designed and quality product. Coming from a design background, I can see high level of care for the functionality and quality of lighting. My only suggestion would be to include a dimmer for future versions, although this can be solved with a switch dimmer easily if desired. Great product, highly recommended.
