Great replacement lids.DavidI have had a dozen or so of these containers for several years. I use them to store batch cooked meals for work for the week. After a LOT of use, a couple of the original lids had the snap closures break off. It’s great to be able to just purchase replacement lids, because there is nothing wrong with the glass containers, and it would be a shame to have to throw them away. The price is very reasonable, and I no longer have to remember to avoid a couple of my containers because they’re all in perfect condition.

Not good enoughLindaFirst, I ordered 6 but received 12 of these plastic covers. I was going to return the 6 extra covers, but on putting the first cover on the glass bottoms (containers) one of the cover fasteners broke off immediately. Now, I'll keep the extras as I have no confidence in these covers. I will probably need them. I guess that's a good way to impose more cost on the buyer! Maybe that's why they are sold separately from the containers.

Let’s see how long this one lastsKathyI bought quite a few of these glass containers with SNAP on lids as I love the design. After using them for a short while I have had two lids break. I understand that these products are freezer are safe, but both of them had been in use in the freezer before breaking so perhaps it’s not such a great idea to use them in the cold.

Fit the dishes perfectlyCrystalThese snug onto their corresponding dish perfectly with a liquid/airtight seal. I happened to put a hot dish into the fridge with this lid, and discovered it vacuumed on when I retrieved it in the morning. Great design!
