You can't clean in between the black plastic strands so now it is difficult to put knives in more than a couple inches (with dust build-up I assume as I do wipe this down at least once/month). The price was great though.3

Looks sleek and super easy to use. I find it easier to take out a knife when the blade is facing away from me. Works with both big knives like a chef's knife and smaller paring knives. I've had mine for a year and it's still going strong.

What is ABS plastic?

ABS plastic is a strong and stable material with a glossy surface – making it perfect for especially used everyday objects like cutlery drawers, kitchen utensils, toothbrush mugs and bathroom hooks. ABS is made from oil-based, non-renewable raw materials, but development is progressing and we are using more and more recycled ABS. It is an important step towards our goal of only using plastic that is recycled or from renewable sources.
