Throw this in the garbageJulianUsed for about a month, regular cleaning intervals, only clean water used. Eventually the lid molded to beyond safe standards. Think hairy, smelly, overgrowth of evil plaguing your entire room. In the garbage it goes.

Lid MoldedIrisI was aware of the reviews of the mold issue before purchasing this product, and I had hoped that IKEA would have already addressed the problem by now. Unfortunately, the issue still persists, which is quite disappointing. That said, I do appreciate the product overall—it fits perfectly on my small counter, makes it easy for children to serve themselves, which I think is a wonderful design. However, the mold problem really needs to be fixed for this item to truly live up to its potential.

Slow flow rateJessicaLove the design of this and really wanted to love it, but the flow is way too slow. Takes a whole minute to dispense a cup. It's two small trickles swirling into one equally slow trickle. Sadly, I'll be returning this.

Lid grows moldMichelleThis is a great water dispenser...perfect size for what I was looking for and nice looking. Unfortunately, I can only give it 2 stars because as many other reviewers mentioned the lid grows mold rather quickly. As a fix, I tried to keep the lid ajar like another reviewer did but the lid still grew mold very quickly. I am wondering if IKEA has come out with an alternative lid or solution? I do want to keep using this dispenser as it is the perfect shape and size and I like that it is glass with a metal (not plastic) spout. As it currently is I would not recommend buying this product as this type of mold is not unhealthy for human consumption.
