Poor quality and very smallDawnI used to replenish all my kitchen utensils at Ikea. I bought this grater and a few other things in an online order. When I opened them I was appalled. I could literally find better quality at any dollar store. Your old box graters were very nice with a plastic handle and non-slip bottom. I would much prefer to see an increase in price than to see Ikea selling this low quality crap. And don't auto reply saying you are sorry for my experience, I don't care. Go back to your original quality.

A great graterRulaI bought an expensive cheese grater from a high-end kitchen brand and it was garbage - way too big, wrong feel/ angle, and it broke the cheese instead of grating it. I threw it away and bought the IDEALISK grater from IKEA. Good old faithful- this grater grates and its grates well.
Just like Mom'sScottIt's just like that old grater my Mom had for years. Oddly, I use the smaller-sized holes for grating things more often than the large-sized holes. It's a design that works so why change? The grater is still as sharp as it was a few months ago when I bought it - no signs of it dulling. It's sharp, easy-to-clean, and it doesn't wobble when I grate stuff.
