Good, but not greatDorotaI like the look of it: natural bamboo finish and compact size. Fits most regular knifes, however, There's no space for honing steel and additional spots to fit paring knifes. I also noticed that upon unpacking the finish was already damaged on the surface in a couple of spots making it look unpresentable. Unfortunately, my daughter's block bought at the same time was also damaged on the surface. Are they all like that?
Great idea but doesn't fit Ikea 365 knivesIllyaI bought this to fit my five Ikea 365 knives but they don't fit in it. I have the 3-piece 365 set, a bread knife and a vegetable knife and only three knives would fit!
Ikea, please make the opening larger so they fit the knives, as this is otherwise a really nice knife block.

Does It What It Should for a Fraction of the CostJasonIt's a knife block. Unless I'm missing something, the only thing I need it to do is to keep my knife blades from damage and to keep the knives within reach. Because it's bamboo instead of hardwood, it's much cheaper than the alternatives. It also weighs less. And that could be a problem if the rubber feet didn't grip the counter surface as well as they do. But the block stays put as I'm reaching for a knife.
