Product details

Reversible, so you can use it with the large bowl on the left or right.

Sink made of stainless steel, a hygienic, strong and durable material that's easy to keep clean.

Under the sink is a sound-absorbing material which reduces resonances in the metal when using the sink, thus lowering the sound level.

The 1½ bowl sink offers great convenience. For instance, if the bigger bowl is being used for washing dishes, the smaller bowl is handy for rinsing vegetables or doing other tasks that require water.

Ratings and reviews

Do not undermount this sink with Ikea's Quartz counters!LehienOur counters were installed in August and we have been fighting to rectify this issue for 3 months! We were originally going to top mount but the install guy convinced us to undermount. Huge mistake! There is a large over hang, much bigger than what you see in the show rooms, making this sink about an inch smaller. The accessories we purchased don't fit either. Since its been about 3 months now I decided to look at my other options and while reviewing the sizes I realized the drawing on ikea's website says 58mm but 22 3/8". It should actually be 22 7/8". So this is likely part of the issue. We are likely going to try to return it if this issue doesn't get resolved soon. 1

Took 2 hours to install ??JulieThe product looks good but hardware is really cheap. Will not grip on the counter. I really suggest IKEA to have a look at this product.1
Nice sink, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONSPeterOthers have given the smaller version of this sink a poor rating because of the clips. Yes they are terrible, but they do work, if you install properly. This sink is meant to be installed with the countertop removed and upside down on the floor. FOLLOW THAT INSTRUCTION! I thought I'd be able to get it installed with the counter in place. I spent over an hour cursing these clips until I gave up and removed the countertop. Lay the sink upside down, placing the countertop upside down over it, and I was able to get all the clips on with relative ease, holding tight. The trick with Ikea - it's all meant to go together their way. Don't try to change it.4
Garbage productVerified BuyerDo not purchase this sink! All of the other reviews on this site are absolutely correct: the instructions are not correct, and modifications must be made to install the sink. The supplied template does not match the sink dimensions, and the hardware is of such unbelievably poor quality that screws strip, ruining the installation. Save yourself time and money by avoiding this product.1
poor instalation mounting and instructionsVerified BuyerBeautiful looking sink, however installation is terrible. The instructions to mount have obviously not been tested, as it cannot be done as instructed. The under sink mounts need to be redesign for it to actually work properly. The clips provided are metal and plastic, which is not the best combination to do a sink installation and not a good design to secure the sink to the countertop as there is a gasket around the sink that is difficult the squish down flush to the countertop, leaving a fair gap between the counter and sink. We ended up having to notch out the countertop where the clips would be, but this left very little space for the clips-claws to hook into the back side of the counter. If you are not prepared to make some modifications, do not purchase this sink and save yourself some grief.1
dual mount sink and clipsANTONELLAThe sink is fine. However the clip system to attach this sink is dreadful. I have installed at least half a dozen sinks in my life and I know what I am doing. Usually Ikea's hardware is not bad but for this clip system they need to scrap it and go conventional. It took me 3/4 of a day to disconnect my dishwasher, remove the old sink and taps, remove the old counter, clean up paint the spots that needed to be touched while everything was dismantled and then it took me another 3/4 of day to get this bleeping clip system to work which included modifying 2 strap like brackets, adding extra wood to accommodate the clips. plastic and flimsy metal sometimes do not work well together. I will never buy another Ikea sink, I will stay with what's available through normal hardware stores.1

Learn more about sinks in stainless steel

Stainless steel is one of the most common materials for sinks. It’s no surprise since stainless steel is a durable material with a wide range of benefits that make it simple to maintain and thereby extend the life of your sink.

A smart choice for the kitchen

For everything to flow smoothly in the kitchen, it all needs to be practical, easy-care and hygienic. A sink in stainless steel withstands direct contact with hot saucepans or frying pans, without the worry of cracks or chips arising in the sink’s surface. It’s also kind to glass and porcelain that can easily slide around when helpful children take care of the washing up. Furthermore, stainless steel is hygienic since nothing – not even stains or bacteria – can penetrate the impermeable surface. With a damp cloth and mild detergent, you can easily wipe the surface dry.

Do stainless-steel sinks get scratches?

After you start using your new and shiny sink, small thin scratches can soon appear on the surface. It’s completely normal and nothing to worry about since this is a natural property of stainless steel. The material always gets scratches, but you can rest assured that the scratches never run deep. With regular use and care, they even out and become less visible as the sink develops a surface that is more matte over time.

How to take care of my stainless-steel sink?

Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth and maybe a little mild detergent. Then rinse with water and wipe off with a dry cloth to avoid water stains. Remember to always wipe in the surface’s fibre direction since it gives a finer shine with fewer stains after drying. Never use steel wool, scouring powder, hard or sharp objects that can scratch the stainless-steel surface. By taking care of your sink in stainless steel, it will serve its purpose and look good for many more years.
