Quality is subparMarianaI bought a Hemnes desk and bookcase for my room so that they would match. The bookcase's quality was great. However when building the desk, I realised there is a coat of white paint missing (you can see the wood through the white paint) and the top of the desk (wood finish) is un varnished like the bookcase shelves are. Therefore, if anything spills on the desk, or through wear and tear, it will show marks and such. Plus it doesn't match 100% with the bookcase. So disappointed as I live in Victoria, and to return the desk after I built it would be quite the hassle.2

Amazing!NancyI got this a few days ago and I love it! It looks great and fits with the aesthetic overall. It was pretty easy to install and we got the hang of it pretty quickly, but it did take a while to install. I will say that they do not give enough replacement items, especially screws. We had to use two of our own screw because we messed up two of our screws. Because of that, our drawers are a little tight and have a hard time opening and closing, but I'm pretty sure that's just a me problem. Anyways, I am very satisfied with this desk. It's very big and spacious, all materials came properly labelled and easy to find, and all of it is of great quality! Overall, I highly recommend this desk!5
Quality just isn't there anymore.Anonymous reviewerNone of the screw locks securely tighten, no matter how you try. Also the slightest pressure and some of the pieces crack. I still have a 25 year old IKEA desk I bought in high school and it's as solid as a rock, this is a real let down by IKEA standards.1
