The height is standard for a desk (I measured it and compared to 2 other desks in our house), so I don't understand the other reviews that are critical of the height. Although, it is not as wide or as deep as most standard desks, but this suited our needs perfectly. Also, I did not experience any issues with the drawer, as other reviewers posted. The drawer on my unit works perfectly. One great little feature that is not listed or apparent in the instructions is a little hidden shelf behind the drawer that fits a power bar perfectly. This allows power cords to be tucked away neatly, as opposed to having an unsightly nest of wires on the floor below the desk! I highly recommend this desk to anyone looking for a slightly compact work area.

Bad drawer allignmentAnonymousDrawer doesnt open and close proplerly, when you pull it out or push it back in the drawer always come off the rail. After hours following the intrustions and the result is very poor, very dissapointed. For some reason there is a big gap for the drawer and the allignment.

Kid's deskJinI just bought this desk week ago. It took lots of time to install. The top piece of the desk is uneven. I didn't return it back because i was just too tired to do so. I was exhausted after installing the desk.

Complete Let DownAnonymous reviewerI love the Hemnes Line but this piece isn't at all the same quality I was expecting. I have almost all the Hemnes products and this desk was a Complete Let Down. The Drawer is too small and is cheaply made so it doesn't operate smoothly at all and the height should be a bit taller to accommodate the drawer and leg room instead it's too short under the drawer so you can't comfortably pull yourself in to feel comfortable. Not at all what I expected in a Ikea product.
