Don't order the recommended light bulbs!!GillianLamp needs a E17 base, not the recommended E12 that is shown on the website. Ikea, please update the website to the correct specifications. Trying to get the bulbs exchanged was an exercise in futility, wasted one hour on the phone for a $2.99 article. Lamp looks nice though, can't wait to see it actually light up. 3

Typical ikea installationAnonymous reviewerNo wall screws included. Unless need to bolt wall plate to the lamp. Could it not have come affixed or at minimum instead of the super small screws for which it was fortunate that I had a screwdriver small enough, larger screws. The nobbs that adjust the light direction could only be loosed with a wrench which damaged the paint. I bought this to replace my kramare lamp which was a much easier install by far and had given up the ghost after years of modest use. It is worth what I paid for it.3

I have needed an extra light in a kitchen, especially in winter to add some light and cosy effect. I am very happy with it, it blends in with the interior and also doesn't need an electrician to install, it has a cord to plug it in.

What is aluminium?

“When I designed HEKTAR spotlight I was so inspired by the look that I designed a few more lamps. I was inspired by old factories and wanted to bring that feeling into the home. The large lamp shades in metal are contrasted by a glossy cream-colored lining inside. This, together with the large details, is what creates the industrial feeling. Thanks to the large shades and light lining HEKTAR gives very good light, and a lot of it."
