Solid Coffee TableAnonymousEasy to assemble, good size, sturdy construction. Solid pine wood, no MDF. The top is stained like the Hemnes white stain line, so it does not have a protective clear coat. I have been using placemats on it to protect the wood from spills--I would definitley not put a glass on it without a coaster. I was hoping they'd have a glass top for it like they do now for the Hemnes line (which has saved my bedside tables!) so for now I'm searching for a clear mat to place on it. Overall it has a great colour (matches my grey Liatorp media centre) and the shelf is useful for holding things and for resting my feet on. I wouldn't put too much weight on it though, it is held up by pegs.5

Absolutely gorgeous & really suits my room. Great price too, especially for a piece that is sturdy & solid pine. I had my son assemble it but he found it easy to put together.
