Could be improved a lotOliviaI don't think there's anything outright wrong with this item, but there seems to be some significant quality assurance issues. In my order I had four different pieces which were damaged. Damage ranged from blemishes in the paint to corners of pieces being missing. One piece was damaged in such a way that I thought it was worth exchanging it. The piece I exchanged initially was the wrong one, but it also had some minor damage to the paint. I think the main issue here is that this is made of low quality particle board. It's suitable for furniture that won't see heavy use and I understand why they use particle board, but there are better particle boards out there which would be less susceptible to damage during manufacturing or shipping.
The drawer rails seem to be magnetic, but I'm not 100% sure of that. I don't know if this is useful, but it could be worth noting depending on what you plan to store inside the drawers.

Good Enough DonPortions of the assembly are wrapped in cheaper paper, acceptable but not great. Assembly time was about two hours and I'm an experienced Ikea assembler. Read the instructions at least twice before you start.

Easy to build VanessaI picked this for my grandkids rooms for the storage purposes, for the shelf . My 13 year old granddaughter built both . I only helped with the first build by just holding a board in place then I was done helping she did the rest. I only gave it 4 stars b/c on the back of the shelf on one of the units the seam is loose I’m worried about it possibly coming looser then peeling right off . I will
Update if it happens . Otherwise I think this is a fantastic piece of furniture . It has great safety feature on the back of them to attach to the wall . I’m pleased and if I find a reason to buy another I will especially since my 13 year old granddaughter can build it for me !

Drawers not smoothKateI've taking the drawers out and keep trying to tighten the screws but I cannot get the drawers to move smoothly. Feels like they are rubbing. Product looks great. Love the size of it and the second shelf.
