Not diarrhea friendly due to creases at topRobinLittle one had a diarrhea blast when I took off his diaper. It got caught between the change pad and the side of the table. It went through the side crease, down all the spindles, and all the way to the floor. Had to pull off the entire side of the table to clean everything. That crease should be much tighter at the top to prevent this. I recommend putting silicone around the entire top after building it to prevent this.
Item Not As DescribedLauraWhile it is sturdy and functional, I was disappointed find that this item is not actually white like my other ikea furniture but a cream/ivory/off white which doesn't match the rest of the furniture. We are 9 hours from an ikea and we have already built the piece, so it is not returnable.
Item is not White LauraWhile it is a nice, sturdy item that does what it is supposed to do, it was very disappointing to discover that this item is not white as advertised, but more of an ivory or cream colour, so it does not match our white decor in the nursery. We ordered this item online as we live nine hours away from an IKEA, so it is not easily returnable, nor did we realize the colour difference until after it was built. Super frustrating.
Short-term solutionAnonymousIKEA's baby changing table is easy to assemble and has a decent look. The flexibility of being able to change the baby from any side is a great feature, offering convenience. However, the design flaw is the top opening, which only fits the IKEA changing mat. This mat has a headrest that seems uncomfortable for the baby, and as my 8-month-old has already outgrown it, I’ll need to replace the table much sooner than expected. Despite the good design and ease of assembly, this is a short-term solution if your baby grows quickly.

NOT WHITE - BEWAREChrisNice piece of furniture, BUT this looks nothing like the photos. The colour is not white AT ALL. Cream or beige is a closer description. Very saddening considering how nice of a piece it is. Also saddened by the wasted time of putting it together and now needing to return it. Sigh, ikea love hate.
