Engaging for babyChristinaMy baby loves this little gym. The strong contrasting colours of the flowers caught his eye right away. At 10 weeks he wasn't reaching for things yet so I wasn't sure how much he might be able to interact with it. But the nice thing about this gym (unlike a lot of other baby gyms) is that the arches are soft. The first time he kicked one of the arms of the gym and the little flowers shook, he couldn't believe his eyes. After that, it was just kick kick kick kick kick... :) Now he is reaching out for the dangling toys. I like that some are lower than others so he can grab the bunny although he can't reach the red flower yet (his favourite). All of this is to say that this is my favourite IKEA purchase in some time and we get a lot of joy from watching our little guy play with it! Also I like that it's easy to fold up and put away when he's tired so the cats don't then play on it.
