This tall chest of drawers has 6 smooth-running drawers that make it easy to organize your things – with 3 smaller drawers and 3 larger ones, you can store both large and small items in the best way.
You can use the top for display and add a glass top to protect the surface.

Useless drawersTaylorAll of the drawers only open half way. However the top 3 drawers are COMPLETELY USELESS.
You can't see what's in the back of any of the drawers. This dresser takes up so much space yet offers little functional storage if any at all.
Poor replacement for Hemnes line- find 2nd hand Hemnes and save the trouble.AprilI’ve been assembling IKEA furniture for 20+ years, and various other brands for 30+years. For an IKEA product, this has been the worst assembly experience I’ve had. Very few pieces are labelled (only the drawer tracks are named/labelled), the holes did not always align, extra holes that are very close to useful ones, there are multiple very similar pieces of hardware (again not labelled, just tossed in a bag all together). IKEA seems to be replacing our beloved Hemnes line of dressers and bedroom furniture (which of course feature actual wood) with this pressed board product. It’s quite heavy, but does not feel as sturdy as the Hemnes- drawer bottoms only slot in front and rear drawer panels, top 2 small drawers have no support aside from drawer rails and don’t quite align on the exterior, the locking mechanism feels more like something to break than a safety feature, and the back end panels don’t even cover the entire rear end to accommodate it (making less sturdy).

Flimsy considering its 150 lb dresser.
I cannot figure out the locking system.
After 8 hrs to unbox, layout and build I am over it for now.
Will not be buying the second one I had planned to.

Quite flimsy and too many plastic componentsNicoleWe have purchased a lot of Ikea items over the years and this dresser really disappointed us. 2 plastic pieces broke during assembly (no force was applied) and the drawer slide system will definitely not last with the plastic catch at the end. Drawers do not line up well and cannot be adjusted. Regret having bought this piece and for the price is it not worth the money as something of better quality could have definitely be bought instead. As we are 3 hours away a return is not easy but would absolutely return if it wasn't such a hassle :(

High VOCsDianaVery disappointed. The VOCs are so terribly strong! And I am not sensitive at all. We purchased this to complete a previous HEMNES set and this one is NOT the same quality! Not a piece of solid wood to be found!!! ALL PRESS BOARD & PLASTIC. I do appreciate the upgrade in lock drawers for child safety. However, the off chemicals will likely take 6-12 months to lighten. Expect to have strong odours once put together. It’s been a week empty and still very smelly. And we still have to assemble the matching dresser, so I expect the smell to be even worse. Now looking up methods to remove odours. I am disappointed with the decision to go from a decent wood HEMNES product to this terrible material. I wish that I had known that this was all particle board, I purchased thinking it was wood. IKEA, as huge a company as it is, should really do better with VOCs in their products-especially bedroom sets!!!
Not to IKEA standardLoriThe look is okay. The quality feels cheap in comparison to the MANY pieces of IKEA furniture that I've purchased and assembled. As mentioned in other reviews, my HEMNES furniture (seven pieces in total, 13 years old and still in great condition) is far superior in quality. Plastic pieces in this assembly were a shock and disappointment.
Looks beautiful!MarieThere were a lot of pieces to put together! But I took my time and had lots of patience. The quality is very good, and the dresser looks great!
Cheap / poor quality - I miss HemnesAnonymous reviewerAt a distance the unit looks nice, but up close it feels/looks cheap. The top three drawers are completely useless. 6cm tall?!!! What a waste of real estate. Ikea, please bring back the quality and functionality of the Hemnes dressers.
Beautiful DresserAnne-MarieWell built dresser. I exchanged the white knobs for black ones and it looks more rich. Lots of space in the drawers and the drawers are very smooth.
More for a kid's room?JenniferI think this would be more suitable for a small child's room rather than for an adult's room. The three smaller drawers barely hold anything due to their depth & height. Also, while I understand the whole safety feature implementation, I do find it rather annoying. Unless you bolt it to the wall, you can't open two drawers at the same time (aside from the two tiny top drawers). I will be returning this item because the top three drawers are useless to me. It's a nice looking dresser, though, & it fits my space perfectly. It's just not as functional as I need it to be. Too bad.
dresser for kid's room or nurseryKateFor the price I'm a bit disappointed. The finished product gives more nursery / kids room vibes rather than adult bedroom. I will have to replace the knobs for sure.
The drawers themselves aren't the same quality as the Hemnes dresser, which I think was overall better designed. There are larger gaps between the drawers which makes it look cheaper, and a lot more of this product is made from particle board and Masonite than the solid wood hemnes it replaced.
The drawer runners are fine and I think it'll last us many years. It's not the cheapest dresser you could get at ikea, and I just wish it didn't feel so mid.
Tall Dresser as describedPamLove this piece. Lots of room in drawers, especially like the small ones for small stuff usually left on top. Lots of pieces to put together and it did take a few hours but result was worth it. Nice addition to the bedroom
Beautiful JoleenVery strudy, the dresser itself is high in price but ever not cheap anymore. I also payed a little extra to get it assembled and it was worth it.
