Our safety feature Anchor and unlock enhances the safety of your chest of drawers by significantly reducing, but not completely eliminating, the tip-over risk.

The safety feature means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to the wall in order to open more than one drawer at a time, which creates a safer environment at home.

By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.

In the GULLABERG series there is furniture for various storage needs, all in a robust-traditional design that helps you create a practical, organized and uniform home to enjoy for a long time.

This tall chest of drawers has 6 smooth-running drawers that make it easy to organize your things – with 3 smaller drawers and 3 larger ones, you can store both large and small items in the best way.

High tapered legs create a light and airy expression – and make it easier for you to vacuum under your chest of drawers.

Wooden knobs enhance the genuine and traditional look.

You can use the top for display and add a glass top to protect the surface.

The GULLABERG series includes chest of drawers, bedside tables and PAX doors with carefully designed functions and a beautiful traditional style. Complete with a bed in the same style, for example STJÄRNÖ.

Your home should be a safe place for the entire family. That’s why a wall-anchoring kit is included for you to anchor your chest of drawers to the wall.

High VOCsDianaVery disappointed. The VOCs are so terribly strong! And I am not sensitive at all. We purchased this to complete a previous HEMNES set and this one is NOT the same quality! Not a piece of solid wood to be found!!! ALL PRESS BOARD & PLASTIC. I do appreciate the upgrade in lock drawers for child safety. However, the off chemicals will likely take 6-12 months to lighten. Expect to have strong odours once put together. It’s been a week empty and still very smelly. And we still have to assemble the matching dresser, so I expect the smell to be even worse. Now looking up methods to remove odours. I am disappointed with the decision to go from a decent wood HEMNES product to this terrible material. I wish that I had known that this was all particle board, I purchased thinking it was wood. IKEA, as huge a company as it is, should really do better with VOCs in their products-especially bedroom sets!!!1
Not to IKEA standardLoriThe look is okay. The quality feels cheap in comparison to the MANY pieces of IKEA furniture that I've purchased and assembled. As mentioned in other reviews, my HEMNES furniture (seven pieces in total, 13 years old and still in great condition) is far superior in quality. Plastic pieces in this assembly were a shock and disappointment.3

More for a kid's room?JenniferI think this would be more suitable for a small child's room rather than for an adult's room. The three smaller drawers barely hold anything due to their depth & height. Also, while I understand the whole safety feature implementation, I do find it rather annoying. Unless you bolt it to the wall, you can't open two drawers at the same time (aside from the two tiny top drawers). I will be returning this item because the top three drawers are useless to me. It's a nice looking dresser, though, & it fits my space perfectly. It's just not as functional as I need it to be. Too bad. 3
dresser for kid's room or nurseryKateFor the price I'm a bit disappointed. The finished product gives more nursery / kids room vibes rather than adult bedroom. I will have to replace the knobs for sure. The drawers themselves aren't the same quality as the Hemnes dresser, which I think was overall better designed. There are larger gaps between the drawers which makes it look cheaper, and a lot more of this product is made from particle board and Masonite than the solid wood hemnes it replaced. The drawer runners are fine and I think it'll last us many years. It's not the cheapest dresser you could get at ikea, and I just wish it didn't feel so mid. 3
