Nice fixture but!SueAs many are saying glass balls fall off frequently. We tried at both Coquitlam and Richmond and no replacements. You are I see going to discontinue as it’s listing on line on as “now or never” we asked if it would be possible to purchase a replacement part as you are discontinuing - answer was no, as soon they will go into “as is” discounted I guess. Disappointing Ikea, not your usual quality control or attention to detail as the glass balls are not all the same size hence they fall off.

spare partYannickwhy don't they carry the cover for the bulb. They are so sensitive and break often, its 160$ + tx..not a cheap one
BrokenHannaHad one of the bulbs break when I turned the light on. Have not found any information on how I can replace it. So far it’s looking like I’ll need a whole new set of 13 covers or a whole new light fixture. Other than this, it looks amazing and it’s worked great in my space for two years.

IKEA doesn’t offer replacement glass coversYuliaGlass covers are very easy to break even with proper handling. Had one of the glass covers broken and ikea customer service didn’t offer replacement for the cover since they don’t have any in stock. It was also unclear when they are going to be available. If you break only one glass cover, then not only chandelier becomes weird to look at, but also weight shifts and chandelier becomes uneven to the floor/ceiling. No other way then to replace it or alternatively to take off all other glass covers.
Glass Light Covers Don't Stay ON!!Anonymous reviewerI've lost 4 of the 13 glass covers. They explode with glass shards everywhere and there is NO way of replacing them without buying another fixture and using it for parts. Looked incredibly nice before so I'm extremely disappointed.
Poorly thought outIoanaThe glass covers to this are handblown (I'm assuming) and thus have different circumferences. Some are a good fit and stay on, others are too large and fall off the chandelier. I'd advise to buy two of these to get enough covers for one chandelier. We're now having to wait for Ikea to stock more because 3/13 covers don't fit. (This should have had some sort of product check before being shipped to stores)

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
